If you’re traveling to a country where the language is different, learning a few basic phrases like “hello,” “thank you,” and “where is the bathroom?” can go a long way in making interactions smoother.

5. Keep Your Documents Safe

Make sure to keep copies of important documents like a passport, and visa if traveling out of the country. You can keep the digital and physical copies both.

6. Use Public Transport When Possible

Local buses, and metros if available will help you save some money as taxis and private cabs can be expensive.

7. Stay Connected & Informed

A local SIM card or an international roaming plan can help you stay connected. Also, download maps and important travel apps before your trip to navigate unfamiliar places with ease.

8. Keep an Emergency Kit Handy

A small first-aid kit with basic medicines, band-aids, and hand sanitizers can be a lifesaver. You never know when you might need them!

9. Be Open to New Experiences

Try out new food, and speak to locals to know some hidden places that even an AI travel planner doesn’t suggest. Come out of your comfort zone and explore the locals and add a new experience to your memory list.

10. Trust Your Instincts & Stay Safe

I know exploring sounds exciting, but some places give a negative vibe so trust your instincts and stay away from such risky areas.
